Stick on Signatures on lures

Recommended Posts

Name tags,

We did a bible school item that was gonna require lots of decal a couple of years ago. So after doing some hunting we came up with a cheaper way.

Ok, getting back to the stick on signatures. You can buy water type or rub on decal blanks. They come in clear or white back ground. A box of 25 sheet are around $25.00 USD that is, and are standard size of 8.5 x 11.

They work with your computer printer, and they have it in Inkjet or Laser Paper depending on the type of printer you use.

Here's the name of the place that we ordered from.

I use the water transfer decal sheets. After printing I spray the decal sheet lightly with acrylic clear spray and let dry. The cut decals, dip in water until paper will slid off. Then carfully slid decal onto bait. Oh, I also apply one coat of sealer before applying decal to help it slid better and make it easier to position.

This may be a silly question but I have to ask.Could'nt you get into some sort of trouble for that? Thats kind of like putting a bandit lure in a Lucky Craft box and selling it as a Lucky Craft. If you are selling a lets say Norman but it is labeled as a predator bass bait I just wouldn't think that that would go over real well with the big boys. Now if it said painted by predator bass baits I would think that you would be OK. Like I said tho this may be a goofy question.

I have also used the water slide paper for different things,I bought mine in a pkg of 5 from Micro-Mark: The Small Tool Specialists | Tools and Supplies for Building Scale Models of Railroad Trains, Ships, Planes, Cars, Trucks and More. just be sure to lightly spray some clear as mentioned, 1 sheet will print enough signatures to last years at a small font:)
