what is the best clear coat to use on crankbaits. I currently use D2T it has been working good form me.

There is no 1 best, each has thier own preference.
your question is like asking who makes the best steak.
or what brand of car is best.

i guess it depends on what you make devcon seems popular with the bass guy's where as e-tex seems more popular with the musky guy's,personally i use e-tex

well I guess I need to put more info out there I am painting crankbaits for bass fishing. I have been usign D2T for about 6 month with good luck. I guess I want to know hwat other people are using with good luck. And also is there any good places to get it,like board sponsers.

I have been using Dick Nites recently and really like it. Search the forum for "dick nites" and you'll get a lot of good info. Find the banner ad on this site and click on it for a discounted price.

I use flex coat high build and feel that it's the best product I've tried so far.

Bester, yes you can. But clean up is a b***h, and there is really no need to airbrush it. It goes on quite smoothly and is self leveling. However the bait does need to be turned for 45 min to 1 hr.
