anyone in this deep freeze. in the midwest and canada its near impossible to heat the man caves. any thoughts. 10 below is no fun.

Not quite that cold here, but getting there. Highs in the teens for the rest of the week..........I paint in the basement. Still not ideal but easier to keep warm.

I hear ya George....I'm looing at -5 for a high today...
I bit the bullet and installed a 48,000 BTU Modine "Hot Dawg" natural gas heater in my garage and it is awesome. If you are willing to go that route they are really good heaters.

It was 110 in Adelaide on Tuesday, 100 here today, this is a bit too hot for me, but definately sounds more comfortable than -10, I will not gloat too much though, as it gets to -7 here in 4 months. Hang in there .pete

rj. i am on electric. no open flames with lacquers. the electric meter is spinning. pete i can only wish for that sunburning heat. i believe your minus 7 is celcius. were on the fareinheight brrr.

The daily highs here rarely creep below 30 F but hey, that's still darned cold to us! When my toes go numb, it's time to take a break in the house!

you think there is could?? Here is -25 Celsius. The good side of the story is that i stay inside and work on lures, and when the temp. get to 4-5 Celsius...I can go and test all of them( by then I will get to 100 blanks if I keep it up like this:lol:)

This morning in Muskoka Canada it was -35 degrees celcius!!! That's without any wind chill too.
This cold weather sucks @ss!!!

Ill be on Lake Geneva ice fishing tommorrow.
Got two heaters for the shanty.
Blago is an asshole.I hope they stick him with Ryan.

Personally I would rather see im down at Gitmo being "waterboarded" and see how long and how much Obama knew about it.

18 degrees F here this morning (east of Atlanta Ga) I know some of you from up north will think that ain't cold, but us thin skins are!!!!
Kerosene heater is going to work hard to get the shop warm this a.m.

well its still cold here. installed a new fan motor ,blew that up. its snowing,2 above zero. i wish i was a bear or a groundhog. thats mighty cold for tennesee and georgia. im sure your shivering.

Yesterday Morn'n -23 Up Here In Rockford Il., Right Now 47 Deg. Warmer @ +24. Unfortunately There Is Now Humidity In The Air And A Breeze Which Gets You More Than The Dry 23 Below.. I Know It Sounds Goofy But I Enjoyed The -23 And Scraping The Driveway Yesterday Than Just Going To The Car And Back To The House Today. Wheres My Brandy???
