Do I need to seal my paintjob, before I coat it w/ D2T???? I did get some transparent base coat, but not sure that will work. It's my first airbrush paint job & I've heard someone talking about the epoxy eating the paint. Any help would be great.
Another question is, do you guys preffer to epoxy the bill/lip in when you top coat or after coating. Thanks in advance, Tim.

No, you can use the D2T directly over the acrylic paint, no reason to "seal" it with anything. They only time a clear acrylic paint would be useful is if you painted anything on the bait with a solvent based color AND you were using a clearcoat containing a solvent, in which case the color would run.

I've used a 2-part epoxy over all my lures (all of which use createx paints) with no problems at all. before applying the epoxy though, i put the lure on a drying wheel in front of a space heater to "bake" the paint on and make sure it's completely dry.
