MuskyGary
Looking to duplicate the "old bomber crawfish pattern" This is the one that was brown purple, its still made. I figure you start with a mixture of brown and white and add purple to it, but it doesn"t seem to work for me. I use createx. Thanks if anyone can help. Birdman
I'm familar with the color you're trying to replicate. However I'm not 100% sure but a mixture of brown(s) to get the same hue of brown followed by a light coat of irredescent purple or violet should be close. I have to think it is a layering process because if you take a mixture of all your paints in your workshop, you'll come up with a brown. So a mixture of red and blue are going to get lost in the brown if you follow my meaning. Try layering as I described and if it doesn't work out, blame me.
