TEE
PastorShane, I actually googled "Great Lakes Goby Color" and what I saw was a page from C--prit. They actually have a picture of a "tubenose" goby and their rendition of the bait. Actually references "Great Lakes" in the description of the goby itself and their baits look to be a satifactory match. Hope this helps. MTfishingrods
4oz. Calhoun med 30 drops MF pumpkin 10 drops MF motoroil 1/4 ts Black Flake try that see what you think. We use that as a sculpin imitator here and have been told by some small mouth fisherman they think it would be a good color for gobies. They can varrie in color from different areas and bodies of water though so who knows.

BassnRandy
I sold about 4000 gobies last year. Overwelming color was green pumpkin. We were on Little Sturgeon Bay Sunday and caught about 100 smallies in 4 hours. 2 colors M.F. Motoroil with gold and purple flake and green pumpkin purple flake. All the gobies have some purple or blue tint to them. They change colors just like everything else however to match their surroundings. Your basic greens and browns work just fine. Put a pearl blue belly on and your even better.
