Does anyone know where I can buy the thin, two strand weed guards that are included in some swimbaits or in some weedless hooks? It's the one you hook under the hook point.

I'm trying to buy them to tie in to some jigs I am making.

Thanks in advance for your help.

If you can measure the wire diameter you can order SS wire coil and bend your own. That way you can control how long they are etc. etc. I used to make my own. If my memory serves I think I used .014 or .016 SS wire.

I bought some tube jigs with the same type looped wire weed guard from Susky Tackle. One of the things I noticed about the jigs was that the loop would sometimes pop out and it actually acted as a berrier between the hookpoint and the fishes mouth. I now cut the tip of the guard off and have 2 wire guards. My hook up ratio went up because of it..
Something to think about.
