I've read several posts about people having problems masking off the hinges in their swimbaits. Not sure if this will help, but there is a product called "Incredible White Mask Liquid Frisket" that Hobby Lobby carries. It's a liquid that can be brushed on and when it dries it forms a sort of rubbery coating that keeps paint from sticking in places where you don't want paint. It's fairly thin and can then be easily peeled off after the project is finished. Thought maybe this might help some of you.

You know, I completely forgot about that stuff. I use to use it from time to time on figures and sculptures I did to mask off .
