Finish Turned White Then Peeled

Recommended Posts

Used Flex Coat High Build Finish on my blank to cover the thread. Let it sit on an 18 rpm rod dryer for around 3 hours, then let it sit for over a week, about 8 or 9 days.

First time I used it, it started raining. Next thing I know I notice the finish turning a cloudy color and then I can peel it off.

What did I do wrong?? This sucks cause now I got to cut it all off and try again. Thanks for any help.

Were there any cracks in the finish? Somehow you had water intrusion.
