Help With Color

Recommended Posts

Have you tried using Wicked paint? It's a Createx brand and TCP Global carries it. They have an orange and I think it's opaque. Read the literature on the web page as I think it says the Wicked paint is a little thicker than Createx and you may have to thin it if your shooting with a .2mm or .3mm needle/nozzle setup.

Some times to get a color like that to cover better you must start with a uniform background,White,Black,Yellow or any color. This is more on some colors than others. This family of colors does that to you. As for opaque you mean that createx does not have one or does not call it that? A real bright yellow will do this to.

Frank; I will try yellow as the base coat. I had previously tried a solid brownish red as the base coat with bad results. I need to make the transpar work since I have an expensive large bottle of bright orange.

Rayburnguy; I need to try the wicked colors; I had been hesistant to use something that required a solvent to clean the brush(?).

Thanks
