Rotating time is about the same as for E-tex and mixing time is critical, it has to be mixed well. As for it cracking I can't relate to that yet but will test it in the next week or so and let everyone know how it works. I will let one soak under water for several days and cast another plug without hooks on to some rocks and give it a good beating. I will post the results in a few days. BobP Posted March 5, 2010 Report Share Posted March 5, 2010 RH, I believe temperature, extended UV light exposure or poor batch mixing are usually the culprits in making epoxy (or any topcoat) brittle. That's aside from the finish cracking on wood baits if they leak anywhere. I don't think extended immersion in water tells you much except maybe how that particular bait will look to the guy who finds it floating in the lake a week after you break it off on a snag.
