Top Coating Jointed Crankbaits

Recommended Posts

I was thinking about buying some crankbait blanks from predator bass baits and was wondering how hard it is to paint and topcoat in the segments of the baits he sells like the jackal crank. I'm fearing that etex might be too thick for that tight of a joint. Hopefully someone has experience they would share. Joe

Spray it with a solvent based Topcoat/Clearcoat. Its not very difficult. You just have to get away from the epoxy for this type of bait.
