Still looking for really big rubber strips to make big legs. Living Rubber stopped selling 1/16" but they will if I buy 1000 pounds (gasp!) choke. nope!

What I'm looking for can be round or square. I'm looking for 1/16" (.0625 about 2mm), 3/32" (.09375 about 3mm) and 1/8" (.125 about 4mm). Anybody know where I can get white, black and chartreuse? I only need a few pounds at a time.

Thanks for any ideas!
John

Heck if the shape of the rubber won't matter, just drop by any office supply pick up some rubber bands. They come in florescent colors any shape or size.

Round is lightest and square is a close second but rectangular shape like rubber bands and bungee cords cut from reclaimed bicycle tires have too much weight and are too heavy when casting. Latex rubber is usually just fine.

Also I need a Shore A Flexibility rating range from 30 to 40 also. Rubber bands have a Shore A rating in the 40-50's and bicycle tires in the 60-70's.

Thanks but I'll keep on looking.

Check out fly tyers dungeon. He makes all his own stuff. He has lots of rubber legs in big sizes, if he doesn't have the size he could probably make it for you.
