BobP Posted August 12, 2010 Report Share Posted August 12, 2010 JMHO, I tried one a few years ago and thought all the hardware in the joints made the bait too heavy to swim properly. I installed a small lip in mine which helped a little, but it was still not a "winner" compared to other topwater wake baits with livelier action. Maybe some guys like them, I didn't.
