I wanted a boat that would paddle easier/faster than my skiff.

Length =15'-2" on top / 14' in the bottom / 25" wide bottom / 36" beam / 11" sides, flared 30 degrees / rocker = 1.5" at bow, 1" at stern

Thanks Uncle Grump. I like this boat. It is stable and paddels easy.

Sorry no plans. This a link to how I did it. http://www.southernpaddler.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=7810, also http://www.southernpaddler.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=7811

1/4" pine BC floor, 5.2mm luan sides, clear yellow pine for ribs and gunnels

60 to 70 lbs. est. My grandsons boat weights 59lbs. It is not hard to load or drag it.

Nail and glue construction. Epoxy saturated with latex paint.
