I want to say hello to all of the members on this forum.
I joined up today and I would like to say this looks like a very informative and helpful site.
I have been carving my own hardbody lures out of timber for only a few months and I really enjoy it. I have managed to catch a few Bass on them so I must be doing something right. My paint work leaves a bit to be desired so hopefully I can pick up a few pointers from you guys and girls.I look forward to searching through the wealth of information that is on this site.

Regards
Adrian

I second that . It doesen't have to be fancy. Just your own work of art. Express yourself. Welcome!

Thanks for the warm welcome Guys.
I am off fishing for a couple of days so I will let you know how I go.
Here is a picture of a lure I made today, hopefully it will catch me a fish.

Cheers

Welcome to TU Pilly.

That is an unusual design, with the hook on the side. What is the thinking and how does it swim?

Dave

Hi Dave,

I tried to make the lure look like a small frog, I put the hooks on the side to resemble legs.
It swims well with a really pronounced wobble. I caught a couple of fish on it last weekend.

Cheers
Adrian
