High Heat Tape

Recommended Posts

I have been experimenting with ways to mask off the eyes of hooks before dipping my lead jigs into the fluid bed.I dont like the powderpaint on my hooks! Aluminum foil works well but takes time to get it to stay put.I also tried the adhesive backed foil tape used for ducts. The foil tape works real well but the adhesive gets left behind after curing in the toaster oven.Anyone have a solution?

Would a bulldog clip do the job. I know you can get them in very small sizes. Would keep the eye hole clear.

Ignore, silly idea.

I have used putty to cover up my eyes and screw locks. The modeling putty. It has worked well for me. However I pull it off before baking. This might lead you in a good direction.
