New Crankbaits - What Do You Think?

5 posts in this topic

These are my new crankbaits. I am making a 4", 6" and 8" versions with a 6" drop belly coming soon. All feature through wire construction with one hook hanger. The lures are a solid piece. Any feedback would be great.

Thanks,

Greg

Hi Mark,

I made the first ones out of cedar but have switched over to basswood. For some reason, when I bore the hole out for the thru wire, cedar would tend to fload off center too much. Basswood is much more predictable and the grain/texture is very smooth.

Thanks,

Greg
