Most guys just squirt some on prior to bagging. The scent gets absorbed right into the plastic.. I would be careful though, if you are referreing to salted sticks. You need to be sure and use oil based scents if you're soaking your salted baits. Water based scents will cause the baits to swell if you've poured them with salt.
