Scotch Brite Pads

Will these work just as good as fine sandpaper? I know most use sandpaper, but I wanted to see if scotch brite would work just as good. Thanks for any help.

I haven't used them. In the Wicked Colors (Createx) DVD it's what they recommend to knock the gloss off before spraying. I'd say they're probably better. He was using a red one, not green. I have to wonder if it would scuff Devcon well and fast enough?

Yes they will, just remember that they make different grades of them. The red ones are like a 220 grit sand paper, gray are like a 600 grit

Not sure about the grey ones, I use the red. Anything that knocks the shine down and puts a scratch in the surface for the paint to grab to will work.
