Glow Eyes

Recommended Posts

Hi I just painted up a bunch of lures that are a walleye pattern and I am trying to think of how to make the eyes glow if they are charged by a light. I bought a color stick but that just makes the eyes cloudy and look bad but it does glow when charged by the light. Could I use an acrylic based paint over my DN and not have it react? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

Tim

I use water based acrylic glow-in-the-dark white paint on jigging spoons and my regular topcoat (DN S81 moisture cured urethane) works just fine over it. The paint I have is for brushing only since the grains in it are too large to pass through an airbrush. Like all "white" glow paint, it has a slightly greenish cast.
