It's been very reliable. Dust collection continues to be an issue. Needs a collector 3-4 times bigger than it has now. A cyclone separator can help a lot. I don't do a lot of wood, but one of my buddies does a lot fo hardwood on a 48x48 CNC router, and he uses a 55 gallon barrel with a DIY cyclone separator btween the shoe on his machine, and the vacuum he is pulling air with. He says with hardwoods 95% of the chips drop out in the barrel, but when he does MDF he quickly plugs the filter on his vacuum. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
