I have a question about powder painting heads with recessed eyes. Do you need to clean out the eye socket before installing a stick in 3D eye? GeorgiaBlade Posted July 1, 2011 Report Share Posted July 1, 2011 Since backed Powder paint is very slick (slippery) the glue of stick-on eyes will not adhere very long after it becomes wet. For yeas now, I have been using an electric eraser to burnish (rough-up) the Powder paint in the recessed eye sockets.
