I have been seeing great or amazing bass lures but I would like to build trout crank baits with the photo finish. Please advise.

I haven't built or painted any trout crankbaits but when I lived in Colorado we absolutely tore the trout up with the small to medium Yo-Zuri pin's minnows.

I have a few and I use them. My fishing has been changed with the Rapala F-11 in the Brown and Rainbow patterens.

When I lived in oroville cal. the rapala shad rap was killer on lake oroville. We used it for bass and big browns. They were the natural shad pattern and the fished loved them.

I have silve and gold Shad rap. I have ben looking for a real looking trout imitation for a few of my favorite high lakes. Some of the painted cranks are cool and might look into adding glass eyes and upgrading the paint on the Rapalas. Thanks for your input.

If you are considering creek fishing the Rebel tiny wee craw it great. Get the deep diver though.
