Airbrushing Rubber Baits

Recommended Posts

Ive been trying a simple solution to this for 3 months now and not had very much luck. The lurecraft paint works good but its extremely flammable and stinks to high heaven. Other paints Ive tried ive not had much success with so I wish You luck. Other paints will work but you have to handle them carefully and then dip the bait in clear plastic. The lurecraft paint in my opinion is good but hard as heck to clean out of you airbrush. I think some guys on here have multiple airbrushes set up and paint many at a time. I plan on going this route as soon as I get the funds to buy more airbrushes.

does anyone know anything about the new "plastic paint" by lureworks? and does it come of the bait easily after in the water for a bit?

if you have used the stuff from Lure Craft then you have used it before. they are both made by Color Tech (lureworks parent company i believe) so it is far from new.
