I picked up a pair of korker's and they came with the standard no slip rubber sole, I'd like to get an optional pair of soles I see they have felt with or without studs my question is can you walk say down a few trails to get to the water or do you swap them out at waters edge?

Here's the web site.
http://www.korkers.com/ Maybe you can get your answers there. In the old days, I thought Korkers were slip over stud/felt wading sandals that fit over hiking shoes/boots and let you hike to water in regular shoes/boot and then put on Korkers to wade on slippery rocks without busting your butt. Carrying Korkers was supposedly lighter than carrying along a pair of heavy wading boots and swapping into wading boots at stream side and carrying heavy hiking boots while fishing. Korkers or not, the more you walk on felt or studs, the quicker they wear out, right? Good luck. John |
