Great color! Nice job on that. You can get allot of variations if that by adding some small flake. One of my all time favorite colors!

Thanks all. They are hand injected. I have to push the injector harder and faster to get that ribbontail to fill.

I had the same problem with that color until I tried Bear's Candy Apple Red. Just add green flake! If you like it a bit darker you can add a drop of black. Bears Baits Edited by K5 Custom Baits, 10 January 2012 - 12:09 PM. #170Posted 10 January 2012 - 12:14 PM

Does any one have a smoke mix?? Thanks in advance.
Cheers #174Posted 11 March 2012 - 04:26 AM
For smoke, just add black to your plasttic. The more drops, he darker the smoke. Add a bit of white if you want it less translucent and more of a grey.

Hello,
I am new to TU as well as pouring my own baits I am trying to figure out how to make a color called Sand I believe its by Zoom. I hope someone can help me out with this. Thank you in advance. Michael. #177Posted 28 March 2012 - 02:07 PM
AmerRebel, I never tried this recipe dont even know if it is supposed to be similiar to zooms. I am sure it came off of TU along time ago and it is not mine but you might want to try it.

Thanks very much to all for sharing info and the great ideas.I have two questions.
1) Is there a place where you can buy a kit of all these colors to experiment with. 2) Does anyone have a good glow in the dark recipe that they could post with the amounts.I am trying to get a green glow in the dark effect for the bottom half of a minnow bait I am working on..In the light the bottom half looks like a pale yellow and in the dark it glows green. Thanks in advance to anyone that can help me with this problem. |
