I've got sleeves that I bought years ago from Rod Saver that are made out of bright red nylon, I think. They are just long bags about 4" wide by 6' with a loop of elastic sewn on the open end. Just slip open end over rod starting at tip, and fasten loop over reel. Don't believe Rod Saver makes them anymore, but should be fairly easy to sew up. I know they keep rods from tangling in the rod locker. I carry up to 20 rods in one locker on my Skeeter and only have a problem after I have taken a few of the sleeves off. Hope this helps. Any questions PM me.
