Chrome Paint

Recommended Posts

If you want a real chrome finish, do this:

Get some Duro all-purpose spray adhesive,

and some Poly Flake polyester glitter.

Any polyester glitter may work. The glitter

must be extra fine. Spray whatever you want

to look like chrome with the Duro and then

sprinkle the glitter on. Mash the glitter down

into the glue with very light pressure.

Let it sit about 5 min. Then, wipe off

the excess glitter with a soft rag.

You will have a beautiful chrome finish

that will not turn gray with a top coat.

It will work on a painted surface.

The glitter comes in several colors.

I did some scales like this, I posted the pic here before,

and here it is again.

Cautions: Donot spray a large amount of glue on the surface.

Don't rub the the glitter off really hard.

Practice on a scrap piece of material.
