When I bought the last of the stuff for my fluid beds I bought a Wagner dual heat gun - was only $22. Figured it would help if was going to try a couple of colors to be able to heat the head right next to the powder beds, or speckling powder off a brush.

Does anyone have plans or ideas on a stand to hold it upright???

thanks

I just use a double screw wood clamp on the sides of the handle.
You can drill a shallow hole in a 2X4 that's the size of the barrel, and try that. Just be sure not to cover the air intakes, or the gun will overheat.
A couple of nails or wood screws on each side of the handle should hold it upright.

My heat gun stands on end. Air intakes are on the sides. Not at home right now, forget what brand it is. Seeing that it is not mounted, it will tip over if I bang it. hasn't happened yet.
