CNC Molds N Stuff
I've read a couple things about dipping a finished swimbait in clear in order to secure the craft eyes to the bait. Any tips on that? The only attempts I have done at dipping plastics in hot plastic ended badly.
atijigs
Franks video shows this procedure very nicely. http://www.tackleunderground.com/community/topic/20897-dipping-swim-baits/
CNC Molds N Stuff
Well, I just did it and it came out fine. Yeah. Frank's videos are inspirational aren't they. http://www.tackleunderground.com/community/gallery/image/10217-threadfin-shad-attempt-4-2nd-shot/
Painter1
Bob, I have been making some lately and just use a couple of Dixie cups (stacked), heat for a minute, dip past the eyes and then dip in a cup of water. It goes as fast as I can dip them.

CNC Molds N Stuff
Some of Frank's molds are proprietary for a particular client. ie: Not available to the GP.

mickeyg
I have been taking a pair of tweezers and holding the eye with the flat side down and dipping into hot plastic. Then quickly setting the eye on the lure and press down with my finger tip and hold for a few seconds.
