speechless33759 10 Report post Posted May 21, 2012 Hey guys, I've been experimenting with a resin pour with Microballoons. I'm using a 1:1 MB to hardener and 1:1 MB to resin ration. I'm not getting a good "Float" with the weights in, it'll hang sideways rather than straight up and down as I'd like. have any of you tried a higher ratio of MB to resin/hardener with success? nitro98 15 Report post Posted May 21, 2012 do you mean it swims sideways? or is it sideways in a stationary position? Either way you have too much float (not enough ballast) if the bottom of the bait is not sinking to put the bait in a vertical position. There are different solutions to these two conditions. speechless33759 10 Report post Posted May 21, 2012 It's sideways in stationary position. It lays on the bottom of my tub but lays sideways. It sinks pretty fast with the internal weights in it, but i've only been doing it in about a foot of water. Would you suggest more weight?
speechless33759 10 Report post Posted May 21, 2012 nitro, you were right! playing around with it now, it seems a little more weight helped a lot!
