Flex Coat Clear Coat

Recommended Posts

Barry,

Here is the info I found on your question. I got the answer awhile ago from a lure maker who was a die-hard D2T user. Here is his quote "Make sure you get the Ultra V flex coat." I am not sure if it is exactly the same as yours, but he said it comes in 2oz up to 1 gallon. The stuff is very good and similar to viscosity of E-tex. Let me know if you need more help. I am going to try it, as it is clearer than D2T and has a longer working time. Once you try it post here on your outcome. Everyone is always interested in a new product.

Cadman,

I'll post a pic of a spinnerbait I finished with it here after dinner. I do have the ultra v. It was easy to work with and levels out great. No dry spots or pin holes like I sometimes get with D2t.I guess time will tell in regards to yellowing and durability. If all that stuff checks out I think we've stumbled onto something great. Also its reasonably priced.

Barry
