My primer says:
TINTING: To improve topcoat hide, tint this primer toward the topcoat color with up to 1/2 fl. oz. (15ml) of universal colorant per quart.

Does anybody currently tint their primer?

If anyone tints their primer, do they use universal colorant or something else?

Just wondering.

I'm just guessing here, but I don't think your "primer" is talking about painting lures. It sounds to me like something you would do if you were changing the color of a room and were trying to hide the current color on the walls.
