I have a few injection molds that should be here first of the week and I'm out of plastic. I'm going to order a gallon of plastic but can't right this minute. I have some baits some I made and some store bought that I usuly cut up and add to new plastic when I'm ready to pour but know I don't have any new plastic to add them to. Now my question can I remelt these baits without the the new plastic liquid to melt them in without scorching or burning the small chunks of plastic. Any tips or advice thanks

I have had a few of the cheap Cabelas and BassPro plastics (particularly older stuff) ruin a batch as well, but over all you can remelt plastics two or three times without to much trouble if you chop to small bits, heat slowly, and stir often as others have said.  If it feels funny or smells funny set it aside.  If it feels good use it.
