I just finished the first batch of flat baits !

I don't think you could have done a better job on those baits, those are beautiful! Congratulations.

I'm curious:

* Did you have any problems getting a smooth surface to work with on the Featherlite? I have noticed some pitting on the surface of the stuff while working with it.

*Did you have trouble finding the correct weight?

*Assuming the mold was built of RTV?

Thanks everyone for the compliments.

Riverman,

I noticed a couple of them had a few open pores but they wasn't visible after painting was finished. I got lucky with the weight...I used a #4 split shot and poured a dozen lures. I finished 5 of them over the weekend and they all suspended...I feel sure the others will too.

Coley,

I'm new to the featherlite but so far I'm impressed.
