Bottom Dweller Tackle?

Recommended Posts

Has anyone used Bottom Dweller Tackle before?

I found them via a goole search for some Do-It molds I am interested in and they have great prices and very reasonable shipping charges.

They even beat zeiners prices on the same molds by over $2.40 per mold.

Let mer know your experiences good and/or bad.

Thanks guys.

If I decide to buy these molds I will post up a report.

It appears for molds they only list sinker molds but that is what I was looking for when I found them.

I am considering the Do-It claw sinker molds.

I had a bad first experience with zeiners so i am looking at alternatives. Barlows has always treated me right but I can't argue with saving a few $$ if this conpany treats me right.

I am also one of those guys who likes to buy multiple molds so I have various size options in the samer jig or sinker.

Well I found a cheaper source of molds than even Bottom Dwellers.

Shark river mail order.

I needed a couple of egg sinker molds for Texas rigging some Duck decoys.

Zeiners price =$31.81 each

Bottom Dweller price=$29.50 each

Shark River=$27.99

Shipping was also reasonable especially considering I live in Alaska.

$12.99 for 2 molds or  $.99 over the cost of a USPS medium flat rate box.

These guys seem to carry a lot of Do-It  molds including Jig molds.

I'll post up if I have any problems and how fast they shipped them etc.

Definitely a good find. I will have to check them, out when I need some molds. Thanks for the info.

The way I see it a brand new Do-It mold is a brand new Do-It mold. If the price is cheaper,Shipping included, and the service is decent then you have a win win situation.

It really is an apples to apples comparison and price and service are the only real comparisons as the molds are exactly the same.

If only they had all the other components we need at similiar prices it would be the icing on the cake. I didn't think to check for other stuff as all I needed was these two molds at this time and they don't need inserts of any kind.

I hope this might save other members a couple of bucks on mold purchases as it did for me.

Just got my molds from Shark River Mail Order.

Shipping took longer than expected but I live in AK so am used to it. Other than that though I did get my molds and they arrived in good shape. I would have liked to see better packaging but they did arrive undamaged.

They shipped in a cardboard type envelope with some extra packing tape around it.

I would have preferred a regular USPS flat rate box to lessen the chance of losing an item during transit or possible damage,

So I guess overall I got my molds and have no real issues with this vendor.
