RayburnGuy
As Jeff says, the old Rebel's I have left tell you on the lip what they are. Ben
Kris
I don't have the actual lure in hand. The pics I posted are the pics that were sent to me. All I can tell from the pic is the the lip has "Rebel (?) R" on it. The Rebel and the R are visible...the word before the R is not very readable in pic. The 2nd pic shows the lip. patrick reif
I thought the Wee-R had a square bill http://www.ebay.com/itm/3-Vintage-Rebel-Super-R-Bone-Brown-Red-Craw-crawfish-crankbait-lure-/221258827594?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item33840dc74a Super R????? RayburnGuy
The Wee-R was a square bill, but the Deep Wee-R had a rounded lip. Don't think it's a Super-R because of the bottom profile. The Super-R didn't have the curved bottom toward the back of the bait. It had straighter lines. Rebel made a ton of different body shapes, sizes and diving depths in their "R" baits over the years so it may be a tad difficult to nail this one down. Any chance that the guy who sent you the picture knows what it is? Ben
Kris
I got some better close up pics of the bill. Still can't make out what it says. My friend said he bought it a Bass Pro in the last couple of years. He said he thought it was a Rebel Mini R.
TN-BROWNFISH
I believe that bait was called a "Shallow R". What I remember and if it is indeed a shallow R, the lip will have a cup to it. I don't think they made it many years and they are probably a little harder to come by then most Rebel baits.
sammy01007
To me it looks like it may say Shallow R. Did a Google search. Looks like the newer Shallow R's have square lips but older ones have a round lip, like whats shown in the pic. http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=161079127309&item=161079127309&lgeo=1&vectorid=229466 Good luck!!
