Gst International Lacquer Based Concrete Sealer As A Topcoat

Recommended Posts

Never painted a blade before but I used craft paint. The red bled a bit, and I decided to try a buzz blade too.BC433B4E-4296-491F-AB23-ECB33667FA24-590 I will bang em around in a week and see how they hold up!

If you hit that with a coat of createx gloss clear and heat set...it won't bleed. I know this because it happened to me...must be something with red Edited by Cougarftd

I'm going to try the Eagle brand from Home Depot since there's no Menards within 3 states. I was hoping for a satin but they carry high gloss only.

Remember that the higher the gloss, the stronger the film strength.  That's why high gloss paints hold up best, especially outdoors.  The gloss is formed by the linking of long chain polymer molecules.

The main reason I wanted satin was to use it for it's intended purpose in case it's a dud on lures.

Yikes, It's been 100 degrees these past two days. I leave my lures in the boat. When I just checked them one had a spot pull up off the back. If I wanted to I could peel it back I'm sure!2F7518F2-DF61-4188-86A4-ACA74AC4F6D1-693

The bill from another lure was resting on that spot. I will see if leaving them inside helps recure them?

I have tried the gst on several baits and they are both soft. I hung them outside all day today in 95 to 100 degree sunlight and I am still able to mar them with my finger nail. I guess I will wait the rest of the week to see if they harden up, any tips would be appreciated.
