scrubs Posted December 18, 2014 Report Share Posted December 18, 2014 Just got back from a week in San Jose Del Cabo. Wife rode horses on the beach while fished. Caught a small ( 2# ) Roosterfish, some Jacks and had a couple of Sierra Mackerel on. Fun, nothing fights like saltwater. Going back again early next year. Didn't find the hot spot & rig till the last day when the tackle was packed up and the wife and I were walking on the beach. Lots of Canadians down for the whole winter. They were using 2-3" Hoochies with a casting bubble. Strangely enough lots of guys on other forums recommended nothing but LARGE plugs & spoons.
