RiverMan Posted July 26, 2004 Report Share Posted July 26, 2004 I use the spray can version of bullseye shellac/sealer. Ideally I think two coats of the stuff would be better. Lately tho, I have been been saturating the bait with one heavy coat and then finishing with two coats of Etex. I do make sure that I spray a good amount of the stuff on all surfaces, particularly those areas where you attach screw eyes as these are likely spots for water to "sneak in".
