Bomber Long A Blanks / Similar?

Recommended Posts

Morning everyone,

I've read / learned a lot already from y'all, don't know if I've posted yet!

Anyone have an idea on where to find Bomber Long A blanks?

Killer wake bait in NWArkansas. I tried to contact Bomber to ask about blanks / blend I could repaint, but no luck.

Any advice / direction is appreciated.

For reference, I've tried all the usual suspects as far as suppliers, but have stuck out so far.

Thank you

Never seen one close to a Long "A". Did you contact PRADCO in Ft. Smith?

I did. Haven't gotten a response yet. Admittedly, it's only been a fee days since I emailed.

if you can't find one you can make your own! or make a resin version.

I am barely good enough to consider myself an entry level bait painter - no where near ready for that kind of big-time stuff!

There's an old trick you can use to make a jerkbait into a wake bait. Just heat the lip up until the plastic becomes soft enough to bend it back a bit. Just don't get your heat source too close to the plastic or it can melt it.

This has been done for at least a couple decades that I know about. The jointed red fin was a popular bait back in the day to use this trick on.
