BassBull
Maybe its just me but a chatterbait and tree tops and stumps don't mix very well. I get hunge up way to much for my liking. Thinking about making one out of a reg. bass jig with a weed guard. Does any one have exp. with this style of bladed bait. What are the good 'bad and the ungly on this. Thanks a head of time. JBarlow
I have done this and it seems to work fine. You just have to make sure you get a head with the eye turned the correct way or you will have to use 2 split rings.
JBarlow
This is one from my box that I made a few years back. Weedless jig with 2 split rings.Sorry for the poor picture. I was going to edit my previous post but I guess I have used up my edits for the month.
edgecrusher
This is one from my box that I made a few years back. Weedless jig with 2 split rings. Sorry for the poor picture. I was going to edit my previous post but I guess I have used up my edits for the month. I make mine like this (except I fill in the weedguard) I have some customers who like the action of the two swivels more. Having said that I'm looking at going a more traditional connection route.
smalljaw
The Trokar Pro Swim Jig works great for making a bladed jig with and without a weed guard.
