Chartreuse Flake

Recommended Posts

I think you will find that there are many "Shades" of Chartreuse.

Made by basically mixing Green & Yellow .

You can come out with a "Green Chartreuse" or "Yellow Chartreuse"  and various "Shades" in between.

What is "True Chartreuse" is in the eyes of the beholder  ...

I personally want it on the Green Side  ..  Matter of choice..

Have at it ...   :?

Shane,

What any flake looks like is affected by the color of the plastic it's added to.  The colored plastic is like a color filter on a camera lens, changing the color of what you see.

I'm still using some ten year old DelMar chartreuse flake, and it looks chartreuse when I use it in clear, or chartreuse plastic, but more gold in other colored plastic.

I think you will find you need to make some samples of the different colored plastics you plan to use with that flake, so see how it is affected.

I was looking at some Keitech colors and they have a flat bright chartreuse flake in some patterns. Is not gold looking at all.

Wish you would have said that in the beginning. The color you are probably wanting is a yellow chart. Don't know where to get that one. And that one the color of plastic is not affecting the color as it is white pearl. I believe it's the sexy shad you are looking at.
