Lurehead03
Ok first of all I don't want to start any arguments about which is better e-tex or devcon I've been using devcon ever since I started making CB's I used E-tex on rod wraps back in the day so I thought what the heck I'd try it on my baits So here is my will one coat of E-tex be enough on balsa baits it seems kind of thin to me but they are not set up yet. I think it went on a lot better than devcon seems to flow better!!
TBait
Nope, 1 coat will not be enough.......several on a drying wheel, along with a torch to flash the bubbles out.....

If you use the plastic coat as a primer, finish with paint, One coat of Etex should do the job, IMHO. One coat appears to be all my Swimmers need. The best part is that the plastic sealer sets up,very quickly, to a hard, smooth and waterproof finish.
