Little Suzy Mold

Recommended Posts

OK, thanks to all so far. I've got the Do-It molds and they are not the same. The "Suzy" has a very flat face angled at about 45 degrees. I found one on Ebay that I have ordered. Soon as I get it I will try to post a pic if I can figure out how to do it. Thanks Again.

What is so different from the cutface tail spinner Do-It makes?

Will the minor differences really matter to the fish? I.E. is it that radically different that you can see a difference in the lures action or your catch rate suffering?

Just curious as I do see some differences but not enough for me to spend $200-$300 vs a $35 Do -It mold.

But if you gotta have it you gotta have it.

I do own some custom CNC molds myself but with the ones I have nothing comes close in size or style commercially.

He could rtv it, or have someone rtv it if he really wanted it.

Good point that would probably be the least expensive way to get a few copies of this bait.

If it turns out a real winner then a more expensive aluminum mold could be ordered.

You could most likely use the inserts for the cut face tail spinner Do-It sells.

I'm into making vintage lures and need to find a mold for a "Little Suzy". Very similar to a Little George but has a flat 45 degree angle (/) on the face. Have searched on line and Ebay with no results. Any help greatly appreciated.

I have 5 little suzy. And I think they are made by 6 and they are from the 1950s I believe or 60s
