Chuck Young Posted April 3, 2016 Report Share Posted April 3, 2016 You can pick up perfectly acceptable plastic sheets at Staples or any office supply store. Fellowes binding covers, midweight. flocknocker1 Posted April 5, 2016 Author Report Share Posted April 5, 2016 I picked up the binding covers last night at Staples Chuck.Good thing you gave me the part #,I would have been there for many moons looking for them.Tried them out and they look to be just the ticket.Appreciate the help!Just getting into this so I will be learning as I go.Painting these DDHJ12's may have to wait til next winter, its about time to be on the water! Bois d'Arc Posted April 5, 2016 Report Share Posted April 5, 2016 Gallon plastic milk jugs. Cut the flat sides out, usually at least two per jug. Cheap, durable and easy to heat and mold. Stewy3 Posted April 5, 2016 Report Share Posted April 5, 2016 Hobby Lobby sells a clear plastic sheet in a two pack for 5 bucks, .015" made by K&S. its a PETG type of plastic that i have been using with good results. I made an aluminum frame that fits inside my toaster oven to heat it up and the vacuum box to match the dimensions of the frame. The frame keeps the plastic from curling. Works pretty good.
