New Brand Of Plastic More Transparent

Recommended Posts

Is it because of different additives that different brands of plastisol would take more colorant to get the same exact colors in another brand. Using identical recipies the new brand is way more transparent than the spikeit I was using. The new brand is way more clearer if heating without colorant added. I did a test to see. Lol I am using spike it colorant if that makes a difference when switching from their brand to another brand. Thanks

Give Chad walden a call or email and he will set you up.cwalden@polysolpolymer.com or 844-765-9765. Pretty impressive stuff, not sure I would call it the clearest but at the top for sure. Goes through a different type of gel stage. I can't figure out why it takes longer to heat up as others. It ends up with a bit of an oily feel but was assured it won't get worse in a bag. Hard to change when customers are use to spike it's for so long. Pricing is about the same for a drum.

Just noticed he is in your state too!

Chad,

Do you sell it by the gallon for hobbiests like me, and, if so, what's the price?

Hey Mark,

Polysol will be selling it's Lure Plastisol online by this weekend.  We will have a separate page titled Lure Plastisol.  Pricing will be $109.95 for a 5 gallon pail.

As of know I plan on selling 5 gallons and drums online but this could change in the future.

I receive your sample CHAD.  A paint can.  Nice.

Unfortunately my pouring area tables and materials are all stacked in a corner while I am rearranging my shop for a new room added to the airconditioned area, but I'll be testing it out in the next month or so.  Hopefully sooner as I am running out of some of my favorite baits.
