Recommended Posts

You need following material, found all at Home depot

1 Saddle piercing valve LFA-50

Plumbers copper strap, or anything like string or very light chain

DO NOT USE PIERCING VALVE TO PIERCE THE CAN, IT WILL CAVE THE WALLS, we are drilling the hole, instruction below

Take piercing valve out from valve body

install valve body, rubber leak stop in to two hole metal 1/2 clamp

assemble strap wire ties and valve body

slide assembly down to the bottom of the can

Well done Gino, I have been thinking of getting on my lathe and making something like this out of a brass tap (faucet over there) ,,,, Never knew these existed, I have seen them used for street gas lines and they are big and  plastic, which would disappear in no time with M.C----good find mate, this opens up a whole new world for moisture cure.----------Just bought TWO :? .

Thanks --Pete
