First batch of feathers this year

Recommended Posts

I haven't been able to hunt the last few years because of my back and a bunch of folks have been sending me flank feathers and this is the first batch this year.  Lemon barred, barred wood duck and gadwall

The mallard flank feathers were cleaned and stayed soaking.  I just got 3 new dyes - Blue Dunn, Slate Dunn and Olive.  I dyed up some Blue Dunn and Olive

Sorry about the late reply - I had been using Veniards Fly dye but the shops I ordered it from only do 2 orders per year and sometimes don't always have it in stock

Lately I've been getting the dye that Anglers Workhop sells called FLY Dye

NP..... I have never done any feathers, yours look great.

I tried some anglers workshop Fly-Dyes last year.  A little dye goes a long way.

These are some of the tailsI did in Chartruse, Olive, Kingfisher Blue and Claret.
